Initially our Volunteer and Events Coordinator, Emma, will chat with you to discover your interests and skills. Between you, you’ll explore how you could use those interests and skills as part of the FFLAG family of volunteers.
As one of our volunteers we want to ensure you have a fulfilling and productive time with us.

Our Current Opportunities
Parent2Parent Online Support Volunteer
Voluntary Role
The Parent 2 Parent online platform aims to offer the person seeking support, a safe space to approach FFLAG for empathy, comfort, support and signposting. The person seeking support will match with the profile of a P2P volunteer with whom they see the most similarities with their own experiences.
The interactions will happen at a mutually convenient time for both parties and in a manner in which it is most comfortable, for example on Zoom but without video.
Telephone Helpline

Our telephone helpline is parent volunteer led, offering a confidential service for family and friends who are seeking support, reassurance and information.
The telephone helpline volunteer will be responsible for answering calls within a specific session(s).
